Ah the Big Apple. So much to discover. We recently got the chance to head back there and needless to say, fell in love with the city even more.
With the huge amount of restaurants, sights & fun things to do, it’s easy to build up a ridiculously massive bucket list. But what do you do when you only have 1 day? Here’s what we recommend (with a map!)
Start here. The Met is one of the world’s best art museums and it’s easy to see why. Be prepared to want to stay here all day.
But you can't - too much more to see! Next, take a stroll or hop on a bike and explore this vast and iconic park.
Grab yourself a coffee and delicious waffle for breakfast, because why the heck not?! Shout out to our friend & resident New Yorker Jasmine for recommending the spekuloos sauce. (We found a stall at the edge of Central Park).
Cross Central Park & head to the ginormous American Museum of Natural History for an education in ginormous creatures.
Feel like a true New Yorker and grab some good ol sausage from a street vendor.
Yes, it’s hectic. But it’s also an incredible sight to be seen. The neon lights, massive billboards and range of eccentric characters make this is a must see.
This 1.45 mile long park/walkway is built upon an old railway. Super cool. It gave us a chance to check out Chelsea from above and when you reach the end, you get to check out trains below.
Powerful. This remarkable memorial reminds us of the city’s resilience.
You’ve got to go see this famous bridge. Even better, you can walk across and take in amazing views of the city.
You made it! End this awesomely full day by bar hopping through the many cool spots of the Lower East Side.

We recently took a quick trip to Kuala Lumpur and wanted to share with you our favourite places to go!
